Stress is a normal consequence of the professional demands of aviation. Long shifts, challenging interpersonal interactions, and stringent safety requirements are unavoidable. Airline professionals also seek to balance full personal lives with their critical workplace duties.
Modern stressors contribute to an environment of rapidly-changing procedures, safety constraints, and potential exposure to external stressors. We take the safety and welfare of aircrew very seriously and appreciate the extra demands this "new normal" places on individuals, families and airlines.
The stressors associated with conversion training, re-qualification training, and job uncertainty post-pandemic are real and increasing. Welfare and support during these stages are critical to optimum human performance, thriving, and safety.
How We Support Aviation Professionals
Since we seek to hire and retain the top professionals in the aviation industry, we take concrete steps to ensure their wellbeing. We have partnered with Cor Nexus to provide peer support and assistance to our customers. Cor Nexus are leading experts in aviation wellbeing/peer support. They have dedicated confidential peer assistance available to assist our customers and their loved ones. Cor Nexus is also available to assist our airline partners with developing internal wellbeing, safety, and peer assistance programs.
